What Could Have Been

Time goes by
To see
What could have been,
What could ever be.

Limitless
Within the wind,
Surpassing moments:
What could have been,
What could ever be.

The gazing of the rain…
The music in your eyes…
All I could see
‘Bout things gone before
Were just a lone mem’ry
Buried in the ruins
Of what could have been
An undying feeling.

About DCG

Poetry writing emerged in me as a channel to relieve my angst and aggression against life and express my emotions on subtle things. It became my diary for quite a while. Feel free to experience my thoughts. If you do require my feedback, please leave a note on my MESSAGE BOARD below. Thanks.

Dennis~ This has a circular feel to it, leading the reader repeatedly back, driving home your point. An effective device. Nice to read you again.

  2. The gazing of the rain…
    The music in our eyes…

I love these two next to each other Dennis!!

The expression of music in eyes is so very beautiful…great writing!

Here’s my possibility offering if you like. 🙂
