Roaming Facades

The sky crumbling
Loose strands
Of clouds
Prelude
To roundabouts
Of floodgates.

Gush – gush –
Breakwaters open.

Tides

Tides

Tides.

See the spectator
Rushing through the wind,

Stings
And scars
Under waded footprints.

About DCG

Poetry writing emerged in me as a channel to relieve my angst and aggression against life and express my emotions on subtle things. It became my diary for quite a while. Feel free to experience my thoughts. If you do require my feedback, please leave a note on my MESSAGE BOARD below. Thanks.

  1. Beautiful imagery but (I feel) sad.

  2. Kim Nelson says:

Living in the Sonora Desert, I so relate to this piece. Monsoon Magic I call it. Waves, floods, life-giving water blanketing the parched land. Nicely done, Dennis.

  3. Ella says:

I love nature and your words paint so many views~ I enjoyed it…
I loved the interview you did with Sherry! Email I have some hints for blood sugar 😀
